My name is Briley Ferguson. I am 12 years old and live in Kyle, SD on the Pine Ridge reservation. I heard about this program from my teacher, Miss Babette Thin Elk.
When we got to Boston, it was 1:00 am because of all the delays but it was still fun to be on a plane! We got to the West Medford Community Center building where our host parents came to pick us up.
My host parents were Mark and Susan and I loved them so much and had a great time with them and their nieces, Ava and Liv. I had such a great time with all of them!
My favorite part of the whole program was Cape Cod because of the nice, warm ocean water and Singing Beach because of the waves crashing over my head! And Quincy Market because of the street performances and all the different kinds of food you could eat!
I had the best time of the summer in Boston and the best opportunity to experience new things!
